The History of Illuvium
Illuvium intends to be the first Triple-A (AAA) game in blockchain gaming history. The game was anticipated to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2021 but has yet to be released.
The studio still needs to set a release date for the game, but they have stated that it would be available for PC and Mac by the end of the year. Given the current crypto market breakdown and meltdown, the game will likely be released in the fourth quarter of this year or early 2023.

How does Illuvium work?

Modes like Illuvium Zero can be found in other upcoming games, including Lords, Clash of Clans, and Farmville.
Illuvium Arena is the only mode that is playable at this time. This game features three additional modes: Survival, Ascendant, and Leviathan. The survival mode enables players to form a team and endure encounters with infinitely more potent Illivials. Ascendant and Leviathan modes, which still need to be released, are premium eSport modes appropriate for heavyweights.
Illuvium NFTs
Illuvium tries to differentiate itself from various other games by incorporating NFTs. Therefore, all in-game assets in this crypto game, including Illuvial monsters, weaponry, and skin plans, are NFTs, allowing players to exchange or trade them across marketplaces.
Illuvials, vital Pokemon-like creatures, would be the game’s most valuable non-financial assets. Since the game has yet to be released and players have yet to be able to explore the globe and unlock Illuvials, these NFTs are unavailable at this time.
